Getting SiteWatch Ready
Our no-worries coverage starts with proactive, preventative care.
How do I know if my site is ready for SiteWatch?
To ensure that we can keep your site stable and secure 24/7 within your SiteWatch budget, we start with a SiteWatch Readiness Assessment: your site’s proactive health check up. Once we’ve confirmed that your site is in shape for our coverage, you’re SiteWatch Ready. Sites built by 10up’s experts do not require an assessment.
How does a SiteWatch Readiness Assessment work?
A Readiness Assessment can be purchased for $99. We’ll coordinate with you to run the assessment and send a Readiness Report that flags any significant security or reliability risks that deserve proactive treatment before starting SiteWatch services. If you sign up for a SiteWatch Plus or Sentinel plan, we’ll credit the fee to your first month of service.
What if the Readiness Assessment uncovers problems that need proactive treatment?
10up will provide a quote to address its findings. You can also address the findings independently, and have us run a new Readiness Assessment. SiteWatch coverage cannot begin until the problems are resolved.
What if I decide not to proceed after reviewing my Readiness Assessment?
The report is yours to keep, and doesn’t obligate you to sign up for SiteWatch. Whatever you do next, we hope that our findings will be helpful.
How do I stay SiteWatch Ready?
Basic and Plus plans were crafted for sites that don’t need many changes to their code base – 10up makes code changes using your included developer support, while you manage content to your hearts content. SiteWatch Sentinel provides continuous readiness reviews, so your dev team can keep working on the site without compromising our support and coverage; this can be very valuable for junior or untested developers.
What if I need more time or have an occasional development project?
You can use your included support hours to review the occasional, small third party code addition, purchase up to 16 additional overage hours from the SiteWatch expert team in any month, or contract with 10up’s custom professional services team. Site owners with more robust ongoing needs may be better served by reaching out to discuss 10up’s ongoing professional services.
